Get ready for summer in Riverton!

Summer will officially begin in Riverton on May 26 during the Summer Kickoff Party at the Wind River Heritage Center Fairgrounds. There’s plenty to do in Wyoming throughout the year, but summer is its specialty.  Residents and visitors alike come out to enjoy all the state has to offer from hiking and camping to golf courses and farmers markets. Riverton makes the most of the season and hosts several can’t miss events. 

Sugarbeats Summer Concert Series

Back by popular demand, the Sugarbeats Concert series will bring live music from Austin, TX and elsewhere to Riverton City Park for three concerts on Saturdays through the summer. June 17th with an Americana theme, July 22nd with a Rock Blues theme, and a big Country show for the final series date of August 12th.

1838 Mountain Man Rendezvous  

On the exact site of the 1838 Rendezvous, where mountain men and native tribes met to trade, Riverton hosts an annual event to celebrate the time of the Wild West. The event runs from June 28 through July 1. 

Day in the Park  

The 41st Annual Arts in Action Day in the Park event features the craftsmanship of artists and makers from across the region. It’s the perfect place to find something unique and explore local talent Hosted on July 8 in Riverton’s City Park.

Riverton Rendezvous

This three-day event is the highlight of the summer! Car show, live music, food trucks, fireworks, balloon rally, and fun for the whole family. Held during the height of summer, July 14-16, the Riverton Rendezvous brings the entire community together and celebrates the spirit of the region.
